(b) “Keeping Watch”

This painting is part of the Acrylic Knife painted series.  Jo painted a bluebird on his perch watching and waiting. It is painted as a contemporary piece with surprise vibrant colors! The colors and textures created by pallet knife gives this painting a “BOLD” feel.  Full bodied and liquid acrylics were mixed with a gel medium to thicken the paint, thus providing a 3 dimension to the painting.
