(b) “Morning Glories”

This painting is part of the Acrylic Knife Painted series. Jo loves flowers. She never planted morning glories by seed before. They bloomed profusely, to her surprise. She captured the beauty of them on canvas.  Jo painted these wonders on canvas with a pallet knife and brush. Full bodied and liquid acrylics were mixed with a gel medium to thicken the paint, thus providing a 3 dimension to the painting. Neighbors stopped by all summer just to get a photograph with these stunning beauties!
